A Family of Faith

“The vision for A Family of Faith is strong Catholic families in which children learn the joys of following Jesus Christ and the truths of their Faith through the witness of Christian life given by their parents.”

A Family of Faith is a four year programme and children can make their First Holy Communion once they are in their second year of the course. Once a child is in Year 2 at school they are eligible to start A Family of Faith. The course runs from September to April. It is such an enjoyable journey, we cannot wait for you to get started and to bring the faith alive in your home.

Send us an email below if you would like to enrol or find out more.

The Sacraments are incredibly important parts of our life of faith. Receiving the Sacraments mark key moments for us as we grow up, particularly First Holy Communion and Confirmation for our young parishioners.

Youth group

At the heart of our ministry for young people is the weekly youth group for anyone who is in secondary school. We come together to laugh, pray, and learn (about the Faith and each other!).

The standard format is social time, 20-30 minutes of input, followed by small group discussions split by ages. We have a wonderful team of volunteers who make each session memorable and enjoyable.

Everyone is very welcome, regardless of how passionate you are about your Catholic faith or if you’re still figuring it out. We can’t wait to meet you.

The Ascent

In September 2021, we plan to launch The Ascent youth programme for anyone in Year 10 or 11. St Elizabeth’s will be the very first parish location of The Ascent! The mission of The Ascent is to raise up a generation of Catholic disciples who pray and impact their localities with the Gospel. The Ascent is a three year discipleship process for Catholic young people who want to embrace their faith in Jesus Christ at a whole new level and learn how to share it with others.
