Want to make a real difference in the Church — and grow while you do it?
If you're aged 18–25 and have a heart for mission, community, and renewal, our Internship in Parish Renewal might be just what you’re looking for. Whether you're between studies, considering a vocation, or simply keen to explore ministry in action, this is a chance to invest in your faith and your future.
St Elizabeth's is a dynamic Catholic parish in the heart of Richmond-upon-Thames, recognised nationally and internationally for its bold, innovative approach to parish life. From hosting large-scale events to shaping models of renewal for other communities, you will be at the forefront of a growing movement to reimagine parish mission.
Applications for the 2026–27 internship, which runs from November through to May, will open soon. Interns become part of the life of the parish, serving as members of a dedicated, mission-focused team. Alongside practical ministry, you’ll receive top-quality formation and leadership development in a supportive and vibrant setting.
Here’s what’s included:
- Weekly sessions covering formation themes like leadership, discipleship, and parish transformation
- Hands-on involvement in ministries such as youth work, evangelisation, operations, media, liturgy, and welcome
- Individual support through mentoring and supervision from senior leaders
- Time and space for prayer, growth, and reflection on a beautiful parish site
- A community rooted in joy, hospitality, and prayer
- Monthly stipend to help cover living expenses
