The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) is a national Church organisation with diocesan, parish and international representation. At St Elizabeth’s, we meet on the third Thursday of each month.
We form a fellowship and decide together about our activities which can include guest speakers and excursions. We pray together, encourage one another in times of need, and visit house-bound friends and parishioners.
We try to work together to support our parish and to raise funds for local or more distant charities.
We enjoy ourselves. We organise outings and social activities. We also take part in pilgrimages.
In short, we are able to do together what we would never do on our own.
